Temples
From Metrophor
The Temples of Alankha form the other half of the ruling collective embodied in the Conclave. Religion in Alankha is varied and eclectic, yet altogether quite powerful; while there is no official state-sanctioned religion, the major Temples (and certainly the four Thearchal Spires) all consist of various aspects of the same pantheon. Many other religions exist, some of which have their own temples, but with the exception of the Yarili none are large enough to warrant major support from the city.
Temples can sometimes be hard to spot; oft-times a small religion will just have its temple set up in one of its worshipper's homes. More often there will be an unlabeled (or subtly-labeled) building with a congregation around it during a few miutes every day or every week. The larger temples are rare, and generally belong to one of the ten major deities.
The eight most widely-worshipped deities which have Temples in Alankha are Gabri, Ghuraj, Lokutora, Aili, Nalak, Etuli, Basred, and Yaril.
