From Metrophor

When he's not writing Metrophor or maintaining the site, Chris (cijil) can most often be found working his day job designing foreign-language software at a university in New England. While ensconced deep in his iniquitous lair, he has been known to engage in other pastimes such as hobbyist electronics and construction, cooing to sharp things his mother told him never to play with, and talking soothingly to his servers. It turns out that these three activities have more in common than one may first believe, as judicious application of a sword or power tool fixes a great many computer problems. Chris is also considering adopting this as a more general life strategy.
